My Story

I am a former health field worker, now a full-time book blogger that has always had a deep-seated passion for reading. Since elementary school, you could find me picking up books in the library to read.

It started out with reading anything I could get my hands on like Shel Silverstein poems and Goosebumps. Then moving on to The Series of Unfortunate Events, Harry Potter, and even classics like Little Women. I was constantly reading out of my age range back then, and I still love the thrill that comes with reading something new.

By high school and into college, I was caught up with reading the Twilight Series and every dystopian teen novel I could get my hands on. I read everything from The Hunger Games to Gone with the Wind. I didn’t care what genre it was, I just loved reading.

As an adult, I have gone through periods where I struggle with reading slumps and figuring out what to read next. I have spent hours scouring through Facebook reading groups, Goodreads reviews, and Reddit posts to find books that I want to read.

After reading for so long, sometimes my mind can come up with some really specific requests.

This is what has inspired me to create this website. 🤗 I want to help other bookish readers out there find their next favorite read, even if it is an obscure request or book trope!

What do I read now?

Everything on KU (kindle unlimited), Fantasy, Romance, Historical Fiction, Contemporary, and a little bit of Sci-Fi 😉

Favorite book or series?

I could never choose. I don’t know how people pick one book. ALL books hold a special place in my heart. I would say that Harry Potter has been the most impactful for my love of reading. But that’s as close as I can get to choosing a favorite. 😊

Favorite genre?

I love fantasy with a little side of romance.
